thyssenkrupp CSA

Companhia Siderúrgica do Atlântico is a steel mill complex owned by the German group thyssenkrupp and located in Brazil. Designed with cutting-edge technology, thyssenkrupp CSA is one of the most advanced steel mills in the world.

We produce high quality steel slabs to meet the most exacting specifications of clients in Brazil and around the world. These include over 200 types of steel developed to supply major industries such as the automotive, oil & gas, construction, machinery and white goods industries. We are always alert to our clients’ needs and jointly develop steel exclusively for each supply chain.

We have the capacity to produce 5 million tons of steel slabs per year, which are shipped around the world from our private port on Sepetiba Bay. We receive our main raw material – iron ore – via a railway line that crosses the company’s premises and dispatch our production to Brazilian clients along the same line.

The cutting-edge technology used in every stage of the production process, our concern with the quality of each steel slab, and a commitment to developing solutions for our clients are the foundations of thyssenkrupp CSA’s success story.

In Europe, thyssenkrupp has been producing steel for over 200 years and remains one of the largest suppliers of flat steel in the world. The high quality steel supplied by thyssenkrupp Steel Europe meets the exclusive requirements of each client. For more information, please visit:
