Since 2014, Titus Schaar has been Vice-President of Operations of thyssenkrupp CSA and is responsible for Iron Making; Steel Making; Central Maintenance, Engineering and Infrastructure; By-produtucts, Services and Port; Energy & Utilities; Laboratories; and Occupational Safety.
He worked at steel mill complex at the start of the venture, in 2007, when Schaar took up the post of General Manager of Projects. In 2006, he worked as Production Manager in thyssenkrupp´s plant in Duisburg, Germany. However, in 2012, he became Production Director at HKM, in Germany.
Schaar has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from the University of Aachen, and started his career in 2003, at McKinsey, in Cologne, as a Project Manager.
